“ Was Headed down HWY 69 South & punched in Google maps for restaurant near me that serves breakfast after 11am and family tree Cafe caught my eye looked like a hometown good folks restaurant so I hit the start button and im glad I did. The parking lot was full so I was a little afraid I was gonna have to wait. When we walked in we were greeted immediately with a smile and a happy hostess said “2? Ill find you a table “ i was wondering how long we’d have to wait because The place was packed with the locals of this town. We only had to wait two minutes for them to clean the table. Our waitress Amber was a Happy Soul and was happy to see us as if she was expecting us all morning and glad we showed up ( wow thats refreshing to say the least. What a Great person to have working for you and representing you and your restaurant ) Our food was served within 15 minutes of our order. My girlfriend had the vegetarian omelette, I had the Greek omelette both were very good. If youre passing by and hungry make the stop you wont be disappoint especially if your servers name is Amber....... *My girlfriend loved the Hot Chocolate ”

“ They were very accommodating and were able to seat our large group very fast. All the people we dealt with were nice, and even though they were busy we got our drinks right away and our orders were taken right away. There was a little bit of a wait for the food but they kept checking on us. Once the food came out everything was very good and hot. We will definitely go back. ”

Have coffee, lunch, breakfast and catch up with friends. Had the Sunday buffet wonderfully fresh -fresh fruit Yummy bacon sausage and biscuits And more on the buffet Muffins and pastry tray. And of course an endless cup of coffee! The service is hands down- Great! Good vibe and very efficient. (She had Long black hair)I wish I had gotten her name! Our server Showed up whenever we needed help and gave us space to chat and catch up. Took care of everything. Cleared the table exactly at the perfect time when we need it. This for some reason is my important test for enjoying a restaurant A server who knows when you're done with your meal and clears the plate immediately. “ I came in from Grand Rapids to meet a friend from the Detroit area for lunch somewhere in between us. We picked the Family Tree Cafe. I had never visited the Cafe before. I had a basic breakfast the food was great, very nicely prepared. A very friendly staff lots of smiling faces and a home town feel. Well worth the short jaunt north from the highway. Thank-you folks I will be back when I'm in the area again! ”
